Some of the Cooper people I know have said the Jags are having a solid season, but today's game was decided by half.

 

Was this just a bad shooting day for the Jags or did the CovCath defense cause them that many problems?

Only varsity play Wednesday. They played the frosh/JV games today due to the large crowd expected for the varsity game.

I haven't heard anything saying it would be moved from the scheduled 7:30 start.

The zebras as y'all call them was a joke. They let it get way out of control early then tried to clean it up in the second half. By all means it didn't cost cooper the game but definitely let CC get by with way more physicality

Offciating in freshman games in general this year have been quite amusing. Some have just been downright bad while the majority have been pretty good. It's been pretty hit or miss

As a program CCH plays fast and physical - they are very fundamentally sound and look to take shared space at both ends on every possession. When the refs call the game close, CCH encounters foul trouble, isn't as effective defensively, and due to opponent free throws struggles to maintain pace. When the refs let them play, CCH runs right over teams.

 

Sounds like the latter occurred yesterday.
