During my time at Holmes there were red wooden bleachers on both sides of the field and it was surrounded by a cinder track. A silver painted iron railing ran almost all the way around as well. A tad dangerous maybe. The "thing" to do was to take a lap around the track during games just to see who was there. Even though we were usually pretty bad, there was always a crowd. This new field is just amazing. Extremely happy for the kids and fans of the Bulldogs.

Looks good. And Holmes should have decent attendance just to see the field at first. I'll reserve judgement whether or not something like this jump starts an anemic program. Hoping for the best.

 

By the way, will soccer lines also be going down? I didn't see any in the pics I saw.

This is correct!!! I believe the soccer lines are already down on the field.
