January 7, 20179 yr As a fan of the original version of " Tennessee Whiskey", I think Chris Stapleton does a great job with his version, changing it enough from the origional version to make it sound like a different song. Most of today's county music fans don't even realize that Stapleton's version is not the original. That being said, this guy Changes it just a little more to make it sound even more like a " pop song" instead of a country song. Don't like it at all because I am an old school country music fan.
