Is it because he played football and missed off season basketball?

Maybe? Cottrell has been playing varsity since his Freshman year and a baller. Kid is 6'1 and dunks. Good shooter, ball handler and great on defense. It makes no sense.

SK played hard. I would hardly call it dirty. On the other hand I can't disagree that Steiner's conduct was not up to par. However, there isn't a better coach or individual that I can think of than Fro. Best leader of young men in the area. Maybe they can get him to head south someday and wear the Pioneer Blue. Lol!!!

Have yet to see him coach.

When you have this many kids leave it is a problem. Here is some I know I am missing some names.

Hayden

Cooper

Murray

Cottrell

Racke

Williams injuried

Carter

Vance

Kincaid

Sounds like a problem to me.

Have yet to see him coach.

What? SK's #1 fan missed the game tonight?

Malik Monk?

Little birdie told me kids are tired of verbal torture from a certain coach...

Play was hard and physical. Not dirty at all. A hard foul is not dirty.

For what it's worth, Scott JV beat Simon Kenton by 3 in what seemed like a regional tournament atmosphere.

(Now the officiating in the JV game was worse than the officiating in the varsity game)

100 percent dirty and it wasn't the only dirty play made against J.Ohmer.

I have never seen SK play dirty but I have seen Scott scrimmage a team last year where Ohmer was removed from the game.

No doubt about it. The intentional foul called on SK was very deserving. Kid took out Jake going for the layup, no play on the ball, arms extended. He was down awhile and lucky he was able to get back up and return to the game. That's the one that was called but not the only hard cheap shot taken.

Regardless.. intense post season type atmosphere. Great to see two fan bases come out and support their teams, something you don't see much these days.

Scott wins their 5th straight. 12-4 on the season.

I hope Steiner and the Pioneers can salvage the season and get some more wins.

A packed house but far from a great watch. Ohmer did most damage from the stripe and driving to the hoop, his second half jump stop and layup made my knees hurt. I don't know the final numbers but SK turned the ball over a ton. Scott was very aggressive on defense but many of the turnovers were careless mistakes.
