But the question was about why they leave.

I don't know the answer to that.

Most of them are football players. Actually everyone of them are football players.

Coach Marksberry is very good, from what I've heard, about his football players playing other sports. That being said I'm sure he's not making them choose so what does kids playing football have to do with it? Isn't Cottrell a Senior anyway? Why did he quit?

Should we refer back to KyJoe's first comment?

Over a dozen football players played basketball.

You quit because you think another school has a better coach?

Again, what does football have to do with it? I guess I'm trying to get at if Steiner is the issue.

Cottrell was a starter last year and played football this year. He was coming off the bench and barely getting playing time for some reason. Not sure why you have one of your best players sit the bench.

Lol!!!! Not what I meant. That comment just sums up the state of affairs at SK I guess. That's what I was getting at.

Is it because he played football and missed off season basketball?

Fro has done an excellent job so far in his first season as a head varsity basketball coach.

Scott is starting to get production out of more than 1 or 2 players on both sides of the basketball, if this continues I believe they will be tough to beat.

Either way. The way Fromeyer conducts himself is way better than Steiner. SK just played dirty, although, packed gym and rowdy crowd probably had something to do with it. Impressive win by Scott.

25 and he could have had more but does a nice job of getting his teammates involved. I like Ohmer's game a lot after watching him tonight. I hope he gets a full scholarship to a good school because he can shoot and is athletic as heck.

SK played hard. I would hardly call it dirty. On the other hand I can't disagree that Steiner's conduct was not up to par. However, there isn't a better coach or individual that I can think of than Fro. Best leader of young men in the area. Maybe they can get him to head south someday and wear the Pioneer Blue. Lol!!!
