September 13, 200620 yr I know, and I was poking fun at not knowing if you are predicting, jinxing, I am confused, if only HSSB and you could get on the same page, he with the avatar of death and your jinx predictions, you could do some damage!!! Be careful old friend lest they chose the Royal football team as their victim.

I was going out on a limb with Houston after looking at how the series was set up before Petitte got hurt. I still feel good about the Twins, but the jinx did seem to work on Liriano...
September 13, 200620 yr So the Cards are your pick for the Wild Card? Thanks for playing... :sssh: Hold on...not so fast...The Cards will play the Mets in the first round if their record is worse than the winner of the west and either Philly or Florida, gets the wild card...A VERY possible scenario. :sssh:
September 13, 200620 yr I figured you'd miss that if the Cards play the Mets in Round 1, they lost the NL Central... See my last post...Unless the MLB rules have changed the division winner with the best record still plays the division winner with the worst record in the first round if, in fact, the wild crd winner is also in the winner's division.
September 14, 200620 yr Author See my last post...Unless the MLB rules have changed the division winner with the best record still plays the division winner with the worst record in the first round if, in fact, the wild crd winner is also in the winner's division. Could be. The Reds have been out of the mix for so long, I just never cared how the matchups were set...
September 28, 200619 yr Even if I end up wrong, I was at least close... Close isn't good enough for you... Esp. if you go 0-2!
September 28, 200619 yr I know you wrote it in pencil, anyway... Crayon, he hasn't moved up to pencils yet.

They have. If Houston ends up the WC and the Cardinals the division winner. Then the Astros would play the Mets. And the Cardinals would play the Padres. Division winners can't play anyone in their own division in the first series.
September 29, 200619 yr Author Twins are tied with the Tigers and Houston is .5 back of the Cards... :jump:
September 29, 200619 yr Twins are tied with the Tigers and Houston is .5 back of the Cards... :jump: Quite impressive my friend. You could very well look like a genius in three days. I hope that doesn't ruin your reputation. :sssh:
