Do you see why your ND fandom would shield you from being able to see the OSU or ND envy for that matter. Hate isn't born out of thin air.

 

I am a fan of two of the most hated teams in the country in UK and Notre Dame. However I am not delusional in thinking it's cause of jealousy. Hate is not made out of thin air. I am telling you the main reason why people hate OSU, Notre Dame, UK, etc is not because of jealousy. It's because of those teams fans and how arrogant, cocky, they are. So I guess people should say they hate those teams fan bases. When I say I hate OSU I am mainly referring to its fan base. I like Urban Meyer and like how he coaches his team. I hate OSU because of the cocky arrogant fan base for the reasons I already mentioned. You all started acting like you all are on Bama level the last 2 years, and well as we seen your not. Haven't even been the best big 10 team the last 2 years. Then your alls comments in actually thinking it's jealousy for why people hate OSU, just shows how arrogant and cocky the fan base is. Which is the true reason people hate OSU is because of its fans. The same reason people hate UK. People don't hate UK because of its success, they hate UK because of our fan base. Shoot I dislike half of my fellow UK fan base, because they truly are crazy lol.

They were the best team in the Big 10. Penn State lost by 39 points to the 3rd place team this year, but you give them the credit for being the best Big 10 team this year? You can't have it both ways. Look at the talent that '15 OSU team had and look at how bad they beat up Michigan and your Irish at the end of the year. MSU got a fluky win over OSU last year but losses happen. Ole Miss knocked off Bama 2 years in a row. For some reason their losses don't mean as much. It's a double standard. We'll agree to disagree on the root cause of OSU hate.

I'll admit that my hate for the Steelers and the Patriots stems from greatness. The fans certainly add to that hatred, but the root is envy and I'm not shy to admit that. I would never in a million years wish to be a Pats or Steelers fan but I wish our team had that sort of stability and sustained success.

It was one game. MSU did not look as good in any game all year as OSU did against Michigan and ND. A Michigan team that should have beat MSU but lost in a fluky way somewhat similar to how OSU lost to Penn State this year. OSU didn't take care of business against MSU period. I won't argue with that. But they were still a better team. Just like Bama losing to Ole Miss 2 years in a row doesn't make them a better team than Bama. Losses happen. It takes a loss to get your team back on track but Bamas losses were earlier so they get the benefit of the doubt.

I hate the Steelers fans more than anyone, especially the ones who grew up in the greater cincinnati/ nky area who are only Steelers fans because the Bengals weren't any good. But you can't deny that you don't envy the success they have had and would give anything for the Bengals to have that kind of success.

I enjoy our debates too. That is why I like this site. We all have opinions, and there is nothing wrong defending your opinion. I know a lot of people on here don't like me because I will do whatever I can to support my opinion.

 

We all think our opinion is right, so there is no reason to not defend it lol. I have been right on things and I have been completely wrong on things on here. Since I do try to defend my opinion a lot I do bring it back up when I am right. Just likes it's brought back up when I am wrong lol. Which is fine, and why I enjoy this site. Even though most on here dislike me, I enjoy discussing sports and debating and defending opinions. Even when I disagree, I do respect people's opinions but will still try to support mine lol. There is a lot of good people on this site, and you're one of them. I always enjoy our discussions.
