I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about officiating after winning by 30....

I heard the referees decided to call a sympathy game that resulted in 0 fouls for Scott in 2nd half.

 

If that's true (0 fouls ). That tells me you played absolutely no defense or referees were trying to end game. Maybe a combined effort too

 

I wasn't there but found it interesting that my Scott friend thought the refs could have tightened things up

This time of year your hoping that the messages coaches have been sending all year are starting to get thru to their kids. It's alarming if scotts kids didn't give a strong defensive effort this time of year against one of their rivals. Defense is mostly heart

For the no sports minded that don't understand.

 

Coaches typically work they lineups and attempt to develop thru the month of December. Schools out, I can now have your undivided attention to focus on the areas we have been exposed. Improve this month, Jan feb I cut rotations and focus focus on areas we need to improve. All season games are practice for post season.

 

By end of December. If you have major glaring issues ( like not playing hard defense; I believe your words not mine) then my point is this time of year having to coach effort is a major concern

 

That goes for ALL teams. Not just Scott girls. That's not passsive aggressive. That pointed.

Read my earlier posts. I pointed several deficiencies for sk girls.

I see some for sk boys.

Saw some in Scott boys.

Saw some in highlands girls. You get tho point ( I think)

 

I'm not ripping a program. Throwing things out to discuss I hope.

Uhmmm. I attacked kids heart or did I question it as a possibility of being a reason for an outcome?

 

How dare I! We should have given participation ribbons instead of trying to figure what needs to be addressed to get better. How dare we question effort. Although in this case I just listed it as a possibility
