December 25, 20169 yr No one loses on purpose. There isn't a franchise QB available at #1 so the Browns with LOTS of needs will have a variety of options for a solid pick. BTW, the 49rs win (or lose) a tie break with the Browns. If they have the same record the Niners will get the first pick.

I still think there's a good chance that the Browns give a pick or two to Dallas for Romo... feels like a Browns move. Not a terrible move if they don't have to give up too much... but it seems they're a long way from being a consistent winner and Romo will likely retire by the time they're built up enough to compete for championships... That said, if I'm the Browns, I keep the picks and keep building... they're way more than just a good QB away from serious contention for awhile... But then again, good drafting and free agency can change things quickly in the NFL... I'm very interested to see how Hue does those things the next couple of years.
