Somerset is probably the best 0-4 tteam in the state and they get win #1 this week.

I said it in an earlier post. Somerset will be 0-4 in predistrict and end up the regular season at 6-4. The first one comes this week 35-14.

I see them winning the district also and in an easy fashion.

With Cumberland already 0 and 1 in district play this is a big game for Cumberland. If they drop this game, they are pretty much out contention for district title, and in trouble for a home playoff game. It also wouldn't surprise me that this is the first of two meetings between these two schools. Cumberland played Somerset tough last year, if they do a good containing Deaton and Cole, they have a shot. Cumberland usually has big Oline and will need to run behind them. Washington will need to have a big night for the Skins to make the long trip back home with a win. Somerset is a good home team, and always tough to beat at the Briar Patch. I think Somerset wins this one, but I think it will be a little closer.

I think the Skins have the most athletic team in the district and ability to beat any team in District 7. Somerset is awfully tough though and despite being 0-4, they aren't bad. They are battle tested and have played a heckacious schedule. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Skins get the Jumpers (because confidence could be hurt after being 0-4) but I'm giving the edge to Somerset. I look for Somerset to turn it on now that district is here.

With the way the playoffs are set up, this might just be part one of Cumberland/Somerset.

Cumberland is for real, they are big and strong up front, and fast around end. This should be a dandy.

Must win for the Jumpers. They can't afford to go to 0-5. They'll pin their ears back and play with hunger. Cumberland couldn't have caught the Jumpers at a worse time. Jumpers by 3 tds.

This should be an interesting game. I could see it going either way. I'll just give the game to Somerset though because of the Deaton/Cole combination.
