Let me know where you will be and I will stop by. Just give me a heads up before game time. I'm still not sure where the game is being played. I assume Mercer field. Anybody know for sure?

But I like stirring up trouble.:flame: :ylsuper:

I get in trouble when i'm not even looking for it on here. I also wanna say hats off to the Rebel players. These kids have played their butts off. This week could be a springboard for Boyle. I hope not but if we lose I will still wish the best for Boyle Co. I think once they get to play that game at home later this month that it might really bring out the animal in the Rebs!

Why was Grant Tamme on the sidelines? Is he hurt?

He was on the trainers cart last week with ice on his knee and did not play against Lafayette. Do not know about this week. I can possibly find out tomorrow if he is practicing this week or not. Last week they said it could be a couple or three weeks but I don't know yet. Will keep you updated.

I hope he is able to go. I know he doesn't want to miss this one. He is a competitor.

Don't forget that Boyle and Mercer are neighbors. So you make yourself at home at our house.

Hey, I'm always a neighborly kind of person but I'm just not feeling the love right now:D But Super and I aren't in the mood to talk are we super - we are in the mood to:banana:

But now in previous threads we've been hearing about the whole backfield running something like 2.2 40 times, the best O and D line this side of the NFL, a passing game that would be dominant if they would throw the ball. All this from a borderline 3-4A team getting to play 2A on a technicality. You aren't going to back down now and talk about how tough your competion is are you?

You are funny. You need to put those contacts back in and try reading my post history again. I did say that Mercer possibly had the deepest and fastest backfield of any team in the state. One of the players parents that I work with told me of their combine times which were sick. Now whether their was any truth to the times I don't know. If corey Jackson doesn't run in the 4.3's then I hate to see the backs that do. I posted that craig yeast ran the 40 in the 4.3's and I was told that was total bull. I believe that anybody who saw craig yeast play in person would say that was very believable. In an earlier post I did mention that Harrodsburg had 3 NFL draft picks in the last 15 years. Am I lying? Well You have proven to all you have the internet. Look that up. After you put your contact lens in that is. If I am way out of line then I guess I am. But stats don't lie either. The top four backs combined for over 4,500 yards. I think that is pretty impressive. Also, I want you to copy and paste the post where I said that Mercer had the best O-line and D-line of any team. I did say that they were rebuilding both of their lines this year. Are you saying Boyle Co. isn't a tough team? I haven't mentioned one time that Mercer was going to spank any team in particular. You seem to think I did so, why don't you copy and paste that. Pretty much the only truth that comes out of this is that you are mad about the merger. You seem to be slamming Mercer due to this. Well, the KHSAA holds that trump card. I think it would be hard for 20 opponents of two schools that merged to pick up new opponents 3 months before the season starts. That's why the KHSAA re-classifies every 2 years. Get your stuff together. You wont find in any of my posts where I talked crap to possible future opponents of Mercer. And, I have admired Boyle Co. football for a long time. Some people might not know that Chuck Smith started his coaching career as an assistant at Mercer co. in the mid 80's. Coach Larry French the coach at Mercer at the time gave chuck his first coaching job in the high school ranks. So in a way Mercer had a little somthin to do with the 5 state titles in a row. Kinda like Kansas and Pho Allen having somthing to do with the greatness of Ky basketball. Not much but a little. Chuck had to start somwhere. Boyle Co has had alot of people admire their program. And, no I'm not going to talk trash about the game this week cause it could go either way. Sorry about that folks. No matter what is replied to my post I'm not going to answer. I told Watsui that I would avoid confrontations from now on. I just wanted to clear my name. I love football at every level. I take it seriously and some people don't. I believe most on this site do.

I have never, ever seen a team rub Corbin's nose in it like Mercer did last week. To score 53 points and not even attempt a pass is utter and total domination. I played on a team that beat Corbin 34-0 and I thought we had done something, I'm amazed the Corbin fans haven't went totally bananas. Surely you will get better this year.QUOTE]

Where are those contacts? You saw me post what? When did you see Mercer play Corbin? I thought we were 3-0. We are 4-0.? Wow. I'm done with this. Back to the top of this thread please.

Mercer is to much for Boyle to handle, sorry Rebels, but everyone needs a year to rebuild.

Mercer 40

Boyle 20

I think something to do with his knee. But I'm not for sure. You will need to ask one of the many Rebel Analysis.:walk:

MERCER WILL WIN.

Ouch. I hope to see you guys there. If we lose I will be gracious.

:thumb: :thumb: Putting all the smack talking aside (where it belongs- and this most certainly isn't directed at you) You will find that "most" Rebel fans are always gracious win or lose. If you get beat by a better team, you just get beat. Some of us truly do understand that this is a game for the kids and the kids alone. Boyle County plays a hard game but they play fair and honest. So my wish is that this game is injury free for both teams and that all these kids get on the field and have a blast - win or lose:thumb:

Mercer is NOT a borderline 3A/4A team, they are a technically a small 3A school playing in 2A, with an enrollment of right about 915 students. A little over 700 from the original Mercer campus, and only about 200 or so from Harrodsburg.
