How do you feel about some ice? :thumb:

So we could get an ice form that weekend? The huge snow amounts are less likely now? Got some BGPers coming in for the pre game to my place in Covington. Hope we can work around it.

As I've said before there is really no way to know this far in advance. Things are going to go back and forth until we get closer. So I hope no one took my previous posts as a forecast. It was stated that things will more than likely change and the posts were for information purposes only. I've seen from 15-20" of snow to about around 1" of ice along the Ohio River from around WKY to about Louisville. So everyone should just hold on and wait and see. We are still two weeks away. Should start getting a good read by the end of next week.

Thanks and I knew it wasn't a forecast. But you are so good at this stuff. I just see a bunch of wiggly lines and rainbow colors. Kinda like my college days, but I digress.

Just to let you know what I'm seeing. The CFS long range model is showing snow and possible sleet around the time period we are discussing for the NKY area. Just for information purposes only maybe 2-4" and possible sleet/freezing rain.

The GFS has the system taking a more northerly track and showing Kentucky with rain and possibly parts of western and south central Kentucky getting freezing rain and sleet. This is why the outlook is so hard to forecast this far out. As I stated earlier we should get a good read on the possible winter system by this weekend or the beginning of next week.

Thanks it sounds a little better, but I understand, we still don't know. It is December in Kentucky.

Just hoping to get to Christmas Break with no snow days.
