Well just what did you want him to do, go get the homeless guy to be Sec of State, and a guy working at McDonalds to be Att General.

He is doing a good job getting people who also want to get America back on track.

Haters goin hate.

They still have the Supreme Court appointee though. They will likely get that after a filibuster. The rest of the stuff though......

The real question is will this be a 4 year term or 8 year term?

Trump has the potential to be a good president but if The New Swamp is running the show as expected then I wouldn't be surprised if he bows out in 2020 and Pence takes the reins. Pence is already expected to be the most powerful VP. He took over the Transition Team from Chris Christie and has already been labeled the CEO of America while Trump is going to serve as Chairman of the Board.

Word is also out that Trump wants to stay at the White House M-F and then at Trump Tower or his home on the golf course in Florida on the weekends. He will attend rallies and fire up the base while Pence does the heavy lifting.

Damn straight and I am going to enjoy calling out your hypocrisy for the next 4 years at the least. Trump is already planning on golfing every weekend. Probably with your boy Obama. :lol2: :lol2::lol2:

If that is true, the Mike Pence would become the first Vice President in history to "do the heavy lifting." I am not a Trump fan, but he does not strike me as a hands-off type of executive. If Trump does as much golfing as Obama, I will be surprised and disappointed.

I was very pleased to hear that Trump put Pence in charge of his transition team. It would be even better if Trump sent Christie back home to New Jersey to do his job.

Thanks to Harry Reid judicial nominees can't be filibustered so the Dems can't slow those down.

I'm not sure of Pence's and Christie's relationship but I have to imagine that Christie's role in the Trump administration is in Pence's hands.

Early reports of the Trump administration are that he didn't expect to win and will listen to what the experienced people around him tell him to do. Getting elected was the easy part. Now it is time for him to lead. To be honest I am encouraged by this news because if he truly is anti-establishment then we may really see some change in this country. However, I don't expect any one person to be capable of changing the machine that is D.C.

You see how fast the Republican Party turned into Trump fans once they saw he won? Everyone is friends again and the true seasoned, career politicians smell blood and they are all scrambling for the highest position they can get in this administration. I expect to see Newt Gingrich get Chief of Staff and if he and Pence can co-exist then some interesting times will be ahead. The career politicians will run the show for sure. I think that is easy to see.

We all know they will try every trick in the book.

Can we all agree that term limits isn't going happen?

I expected him to do what he said , or he is the same thing that a majority of Americans voted against...wait...the majority of electoral college went against.

He said he had all these good people lined up, the best people. Seems like they were already there :lol2:.

Initially this looks like we are going to get the same thing different, more obnoxious lie.

"Elections have consequences – and at the end of the day, I won."- President Obama

"Elections have consequences – and at the end of the day, I won."- President Obama

Still as true today as when he first said the words.
