Not this time! SW by 10

I wouldn't say so. FS is playing some great football. Remember FS passed for over 230+ in the air vs SW and we might see that again plus the Josiah Robey/Saul Brady combo has been unstoppable in recent weeks.

IMO Next to Pope John Paul Hopkinsville was the most talented quickest team that south Warren has faced this year. FS is good but FS was not as fast or talented in multiple positions as Hoptown.

On the defensive side of the ball I think FS AND Hopkinsvilles were close to the same. Hopkinsville stacked the box to stop the run and tried to use their quickness to get to Litten or recover on the pass.

My gut tells me that If South remains healthy and controls the line of scrimmage they will win it in a close one.

Friday night is going to be a fun game. I expect it to be a war and much like the last time very close and possibly decided on the last drive.

Tough to beat a good team a second time. The team that won sees no reason to change its game plan, while the team that lost is likely to change up something since the plan didn't work the first time. Makes the team that lost the first game a little less predictable. Also curious about SW's players that just became eligible last week. Are they good enough to make the difference? Sounds like they may be. FS needs to get out to a quicker start this time. SW needs to play better in the second half this time. Of course I am going to take FS in a close one...28-27.

A little surprised this one has gotten buried on Page 2.

This will be a Great Game!

Franklin Simpson - Beat South 30-24 in a WILD game in Franklin back on September 23rd.

This game will also be in Franklin, which is a clear advantage for Franklin. Love Roby, Brady and their OLine and the defense has been really solid all year.

South Warren - the Defending 4A State Champions! Injuries have been their biggest enemies this season. CJ Hayes, Jacob Lacey, Kayron Namvong, and Ryder Litten are all special players and if healthy are a deadly combination to deal with.

I look for this game to be close throughout and a few turnovers will likely determine the outcome. For me, it's too close to call and that is rare for me and I have gone back and forth in my mind on it thinking South would win because Litten just willed it to be. But then I'd turn and think Franklin would win with their defense and much improved passing game while being at home!

Best of luck to both teams!!!

The Wildcats have only given up 31 points in the six games since playing South Warren. I look for that stingy defense to continue and Franklin Simpson will win anotherclose game

? dont know

Spin,

If Namvong can't go Friday, how do you think South will adjust. And how do you like their chances?

I find myself leaning South Warren, but if Namvong were out, that would make a difference.

I was surprised South beat Hopkinsville. That was impressive. I still don't think the Spartans will repeat because of the hard road, but they have me leaning on this one.

Dont know if he is or not but next man up will do.Great insurance policy in Ford and Winn has been very effective when he has had a chance .Plus I can't tell you everything.

You make me laugh Spin...

What is the weather situation? All I see is some rain sometime Friday night. They don't expect rain till after midnight at Shelby v. John Hardin. Makes me think this game should be on a dry turf.

I'm expecting a large crowd for this one. Hope the weather doesn't interfere with that.

Weather.com shows a significant chance of rain spinning up around 9:00. It's still over 24 hours out, so that could easily move up, be accurate, or completely miss.

Yep. We know without a doubt the oceans are going to rise a half a millimeter in the next fifty years, but rain or not tomorrow night?:idunno:
