Left the NewCath/Carroll Co. game at halftime, figured this might be a good one to see.

Have I mentioned, I love watching games at Gilligan Stadium......just a great venue.

If you are cold just walk from the front row to the top and back down again. You will be sweating by the time you end.

On the last play of the half Frankfort throws a short pass from their own 30 and the receiver goes 40 yards before there is the NASTIEST hit I've ever seen in a football game. I'm sitting at the very top at Gilligan Stadium and could hear the collision between the players VERY CLEAR.....this poor kid went as limp as a noodle immediately and hasn't moved since. They are bringing the ambulance in now.

How did it happen if he was running free for 40 yards?

They just said over the PA that he is alert and moving his extremities, but taking him to the hospital for evaluation.

Bellevue had safties deep, he tried avoiding one defender and was hit by a 2nd coming on an angle from across the field......it was like two freight trains hitting head on
