I haven't watched every game. I've watched most of UK's games, but I don't want them with intensity. I watched Georgia play Tennessee, SC, then parts of UNC and Ole Miss.

If you've watched them, surely you've noticed that Georgia's line sucks. Meanwhile, UK has been running it down teams' throats...even Alabama to an extent. Heck they line up in the wildcat half the game and everyone in the world knows what's coming...and they still get yards. This isn't Kentucky from two months ago. And this isn't Georgia from the early 2000's.

Kentucky's D line sucks too. They're giving up 90 more rush yards a game than UGA is. I'm not trying to be this guy, but if Drew Barker was playing I think UK would be a lock to win this game. Stephen Johnson is not going to be able to keep the defense honest, and Georgia has the athletes to contain Snell and Boom. (Not that they will stop Snell and Boom, but they have the players to) I don't think UK has the players to keep Chubb from grinding out 5 and 6 yards between the tackles. Kentucky needs to get their athletes in space to beat Georgia.

Stephen Johnson is on a course to have the most successful season in UK history. The entire team has changed since Johnson and Snell started getting playing time. Chubb might be the most over-hyped running back in college football.

Well at least we are keeping things in their proper perspective.

Sorry I just deal with facts and numbers.

Sorry I just deal with facts and numbers.
The guy who has thrown for 1,128 yards with 7 TD's and 1 rushing TD? Those facts and numbers? Those numbers don't even approach "most successful season in UK history." What am I missing?

I assume he is talking strictly wins versus loses.

I was listening to Matt Jones' show today and he said Kirby Smart said in an interview that Kentucky is gaining a reputation in the SEC as one of the harder hitting teams. Can that be right? I don't really see it on the field but might just not appear so on TV.

Name another UK QB with 5 SEC wins in a season.

I mean he has done what was asked, but he is the very definition of managing a game, not being asked to do a whole lot. Why not just lead with "5 SEC wins" and not "Stephen Johnson is on a course to have the most successful season in UK history", which, you have to admit, is a tad misleading.

5 wins in the SEC might actually be the most successful season. I don't remember any other time that has happened. Of course, they still have to beat Georgia or Tennessee

A few weeks ago I would have ask why anyone would even put poll / question the outcome (kinda like the uk/bama thread. lol). Now, I ca see UK possibly making it close or winning.

UGA qb , Easton may be a great one in a year or two but right now he isn't very good and is really inaccurate. Is jmo but it seems that K. Smart has, a few weeks ago kept Easton as starter bc he knew that UGA wasn't going to win the east and/or compete for a SEC title. K. Smart is building for the future.

Having said all that, UGA still has more overall tale nt and will probably find a way to win it. That along with the "it's UK, they have a way of creating ways to lose" factor and I think that UGA wins it.

but .... like the famous movie line "So you're telling me there's a chance :)" for hope of a UK win

Give me a break man, if they had a guy with the Easton namesake playing, the cats wouldn't stand a chance in this one. That said, I'm glad the UGA qb is an "Eason" rather than an "Easton." LOL

You can say the same for UGA though. I don't see UK as a team that can go on 14 play drives that take 7 minutes. That isn't UK's game. UK is at their best when Boom and Snell break big runs. The more UK tries to grind out drives, the more likely it is that they'll make a mistake. If UK tries to play a TOP game I think they'll lose.

I don't think UK will try to hold onto the ball, but their style of play this year is more run oriented. The first they'll use both Boom and Benny while working in the pass, but other than last week UK hasn't been a "big play" offense. The last few games UK has done pretty good job offensively on third down which will keep the ball away from Chubb and Company.

Also, I have a feeling after last weeks loss Georgia will make it a point to get Chubb Michel more touches against UK.

Chubb Chubb Chubb. Beware...the no. 37 running back in America is coming to lexington!

:lol2: I stand corrected. I thought I had made a couple of other mistakes through the years on bgp ..but I was mistaken then as well.
