Amis will just be a sophomore. Perry should be the preseason favorite to win.

Lee lost every one including there coach for them to be in the top 5 in the region is saying alot. They have alot of improvement ahead of them if they want to compete within the 56th. If your looking at players lost Estill and Perry benfited the best with both of them just losing one or two players. I'd say Estill, Powell, Perry, and Leslie will be the top 4 then Hazard or Letcher rounding out the top 5(Both teams have good coaches that can get their team up heading in the right direction)

Estill County returns most of their team from last year, the same team that lost by 1 run in the distict to eventual region champ Powell County. To say that Perry Central is a clear-cut number 1 this season is a little overboard. Letcher Central may also be a strong contender as well.

I think Estill should be the #1 with Powell Close behind. I really think the Region Champ should be out of the 56th district this year.

It'll be a tight race all year, the 56th will be loaded again with regional champs Powell Co. and Lee and Estill who will be strong next year. What all did Estill lose?

Estill lost three or four players last season. One starting outfielder and their DH.
