Everyone knows Trinity is a perennial power and they stomp their district. Everyone knows NKY 6A is little brother to Louisville 6A. Congrats on the district title that means nothing to your school. Good luck in the playoffs. I hope you beat all opponents by 50 so that you can point that out to everyone as well.

Here's the truth. MOST people outside of Trinity don't like Trinity.

 

Trinity blanked their district. Considering that in most of those games their JV team played the entire second half it's an accomplishment. Ballard was supposedly a good team, they were better then last year, and Trinity blanked them.

 

The bottom line to me is that the kids that played played well enough to keep a point from being scored on them in district competition and they deserve to be praised for that.

 

If other people can't handle the truth that's their problem.

Considering who Trinity plays in the early rounds that could happen.

I like Trinity just fine. I have no reason not to.

 

However, I feel that it is disingenuous to use terms like "dominant" and "blank out" and then say you're not bragging. What purpose is there for this thread, otherwise? "Is anyone else as dominant as us?"

I expected Ballard to score at least once on the first string and thus blanking them was a surprise and a testament to the strength of both the varsity and the JV defense. Ballard hung with Male and Manual and beat DeSales, none of which are easy feats. The Shamrock defense deserves some compliments on keeping that perfect district record against an opponent like that.

Most of the back and forth are between two Trinity people. Sounds like people on the same side can't handle it.

Of the district wins the only one that was really impressive was the Ballard one, I agree with that. Ballard is a decent team. The other ones though aren't even worth mentioning considering we played shortened quarters with a running clock in at least one of those.

I feel bad for teams like Jtown and Seneca. Eastern and Ballard get whats coming to them. I wasn't bragging, but now I feel like I should've gone more over the top. Again, I'm willing, as Trinity fans, to discuss this further with any one of you guys at the stadium, pregame.

I guess my Pride, Loyalty, Discipline, and ACHIEVEMENT spoke to loudly in this thread. Oh well.

A score thread is different from a separate thread to beat your own drum.
