What is the purpose, if not to point it out for others to see?

Did everyone know that Trinity blanked their district foes? I didn't. I think it's more of a statement than bragging. It's a very weak district. Besides, when you're as good as Trinity, you should be allowed to brag a little.

When you are as good as Trinity you should only brag when you beat worthy foes. Our district doesn't really fit that bill.

Look I'm trying to keep us humble as opposed to being shameless braggarts over meaningless accomplishments.

Not disagreeing with the quality of the non-district schedule. I am a Shamrock too, but we are a bit beyond the level of bragging about wins that were never even questionable. It's like bragging about beating 3 toddlers ina boxing match. We are better than that. Leave the bragging about crushing cupcakes to the NKY 6A schools.l, we're better than that.

Point of comparison nothing more. Bragging about records when blowing out irrelevant teams is unbecoming of a title contender. I took SK fans to task for it in 08, Dixie in 14, and I will do the same for our boys when they do the same. I have consistently done this for years. I am not berating the NKY squads as they stand now because I haven't heard the hollow boasts this season.
