Congrats to the young Bluebirds on a solid performance and win.

Thanks. We missed battling against your boy tonight. I hope he gets back to 100%. Hate to see anyone out hurt.

Final from Ft. Thomas

A very good game by the Birds defense. They had their hands full with #34 , who had a very good game.

Interested to hear details about this game. Especially how Highlands held Ryle to only 6 points.

Maybe some of these kids should get a few snaps on Friday.

Ryle came into the game at 6-0. The Birds scored the first 14, both touchdowns in the first half. Ryle had a few nice plays but never got any 1st half momentum. In the 2nd half, the Raiders scored early in the 4th quarter after the teams both sputtered on offense through the 3rd qtr. The try for a 2 point conversion was stopped well short. On the ensuing kickoff, the ball sailed over the deep man's head and was touched down at the Highlands 4 yard line. The Birds managed to get out of the hole, but had to punt it away. On the Raiders final drive, the Birds defense bent, but refused to break. Both teams had to contest nasty spitting weather in the 4th. Ryle was heading into a steady wind making the passing game very tough on the final drive. The Frosh Birds have some serious talent and several of them will have a varsity impact, NEXT YEAR.

Maybe some of these kids should get a few snaps on Friday.

Yeah, Ryle's going to need all the help they can get when they take on SK this week. Good suggestion.

I took it as maybe some of the HHS players should get some snaps on Friday

Was a great game to watch. Ryle has a nice size team up front and they move well.

Doesn't Ryle play Cov Cath this week?
