not even fair, have you seen the facilities at McCracken? Indoor facility better than most colleges, dress 100 kids. Sad thing is McCracken may lose in the 1st round to a Louisville school. 6A is so out of balance, something needs to change, juSt isn't a level playing field in 6A.

Does McCracken get any better by running clocking every district opponent? I know they are handicapped by playing 6A ball, I wish they could be in a class with Owensboro, Christian Co., Bowling Green and Mayfield. Muhlenberg has a really, really good Muhlenberg team but will get utterly destroyed in the playoffs by anyone in Louisville 6A. What is the draw to even play 6A? Many schools will never play past round 1, but if they were in 4A they would do well. Just wish they could place teams in a performance based litkenhouse ratings system to help place teams along with population. L d the teams play a regional schedule and the place them in playoffs based on this rating at the end of the season. I know it can't happen, but could reward a school like Muhlenberg who is good but won't play past round 1 anytime in 6A. As will most 6As West of Louisville.

This is a four year old program that has a .500 record with Mayfield, a 2A team that can beat many 5A and 6A schools. It will take some time, but McCracken will be able to compete with Louisville schools eventually. They had a lead on DuPont a couple of years ago. Patience.

How many rushing yards does the indoor facility have? Have many tackles has the fancy scoreboard made? How many passing yards does all that booster money have? Resources and numbers are great, but you still have to put 11 on the field that can play.

I 100% believe McCraken Co is on the right track to building a successful 6A program. Yes facilities don't win you ball games but they sure don't hurt you when trying to get the best players in the school building to come out to play. This is a team that lost to an absolute power house in PA Academy and lost to one of the best ran programs in the state in Mayfield and even looking at the loss to Mayfield McCraken was out scored 25-0 in the 1st quarter and then outscored Mayfield 41-20 for the next 3 quarters to lose the game 45-41. If McCracken didn't play so poorly in the 1st quarter that outcome could have been very different. I can't understand how a team looses a couple games to quality opponents and all the sudden they are not building a program correctly? It takes time to build a program especially when talking about competing with 6A schools in Louisville.

It's not even a four year program yet. I'd say McCracken is doing VERY well for being a three and a half year program. I know I wish my son had played there. They'll be a very good program in the years to come.

McCracken didn't play poorly. Mayfield caused it. With that said McCracken is on the right track and should be a power outside the Louisville schools. I believe they will be one of the schools that people talk a lot about in a few more years if they can keep good coaches.

Tilghman has beaten them a few times and 2A Mayfield has beaten them most years. They are light years away from the Louisville big 3 and Bowling Green for that matter. Must start to improve defensively, they platoon with their best athletes on O and put the best of the rest on defense especially the secondary.
