I can't wait!!!

I can't wait!!!

Wait.

Conner has some really nice athletes. They competed to the end. Our O and D line made the difference in the second half. Chisholm again looked like Superman in the open field. He just needs a crack to rip off 10 or more. Ryle wins the toughest district in NKY.

Any stats from the game? Good for Ryle on winning the district, when was the last time that happened?

Chisholm was the difference - put the offense on his shoulders and carried it the second half. The kid would not be denied.

Ryle was pass-heavy the first half, but made adjustments at half time, streamlined their play calling, and dominated the LOS the second half. I was also impressed by Ryle's team speed - they got beat over the top a couple times but played sideline-to-sideline very impressively.

In a lot of ways this was a replay of the SK game for Conner's offense. Some real success, but a lack of diversity in second half play calling really hurt the Cougars. Armand Jackson can only be expected to break so many tackles play after play. I didn't see Matt Simpson get a touch on offense the second half.

Congrats to Ryle - clearly the better team. Hopefully Conner will learn from this game and spread the ball - and the field - a little better in the playoffs.

Did the grass have any impact ?

I think the grass slowed down play a little but not enough to make a real difference.

Ryle moves to 8-

Is Jacob Chisholm the best RB in N. Ky.?

Is Jacob Chisholm the best RB in N. Ky.?

Depends on what you like in a RB. He has the best all around attributes and is perfect in our offense. Maybe not so good in someone elses. Maybe someone else not so good in ours. It's a judgement call. He gets my vote.
