Wiki leaks (Clinton)

Featured Replies

I would agree with you if it were a racist slur or forwarded from a racist site/author, but that was neither the source nor context.

The end to which the Left will support Hillary knows no bounds. Talk about being able to kill someone and they not care, Trump was dead on about the Left.

Nothing to see here I guess. Move along now fellas.

If she forwarded it......just saying Hellcats.

And if you'd bothered to read the source material, you'd realize it was from an op-ed piece in Haaretz that she forwarded and it describes the way certain authorities viewed a young man they'd found.

I did read it. Why was she sharing it?

So wait...

Clinton didn't actually make the remarks? Did she agree with/condone the remarks in some way?

Fellas, if I forwarded a section of To Kill a Mockingbird, which contains the N-word, it doesn't mean I condone the use nor am I using it. I am sharing a work of literature that reflects life at a period in time in the American South.

I believe this is a similar situation.

There really is nothing to see.

Seriously? You read that whole e-mail and you're still asking that question?

The Op-Ed was written by Israeli writer David Grossman. He's written numerous books (including a famed novel with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as the backdrop). Unusually, the op-ed was considered so important by the editors that it was actually put on the front page of Haaretz. It describes an incident that took place several years ago in which a Palestinian man who had been in custody after crashing a stolen car was taken out of the hospital by Israeli police through a checkpoint and dumped on the side of the road to die.

The author questions how such a thing is possible and wonders what could have been going through their minds (that's where the racial epithet enters the picture) and he wonders if the years of conflict have turned the Israeli people into something they never imagined they'd be. He's horrified that any of his countrymen would be capable of such a thing and laments the situation in which his people find themselves.

It doesn't say this in the article, but Grossman's youngest son was a tank commander in the Israeli Defense Forces and was killed in the 2006 war with Hizbollah in Lebanon.

It's all a pretty powerful piece about where the legitimate need to defend one's territory crosses the line and whether the conflict has turned that legitimate defense into an indefensible hatred.

You really should read it.

The one about Palestinians... yeah not even a little bit.

The one about "professional ne'er-do-wells" is trickier. I don't know any of the email addresses at the top of the document. It was sent by [email protected]. Is that supposed to be Clinton? It reads like one of those insane things you get sometimes or see on Facebook that's preceded by "I'LL BET THE LAME-STREAM MEDIA WON'T REPORT THIS! SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS!"

At any rate, the notion that it was from one of her speeches has been retracted -- though not corrected -- because that's not a real news site, it's right-wing propaganda.

I dont think I came across correctly. Why specifically was she forwarding this certain email?

I couldn't say. The e-mail says precious little apart from the op-ed itself and the translator's note.

The one about Palestinians... yeah not even a little bit.

So then no, she didn't say it.

We're clinging onto the fact that she forwarded an email with a bad word in it. :lol2:

Some are saying that he use of "wet works" in a Podesta email three days prior to the death of Justice Scalia indicates he was assassinated. The term is slang for murder.

I have doubts about anything WikiLeaks releases . Julian Assange has a severe grudge against Hillary .
