This is a 2A game we all been waiting for big rivalry. Who do you think wins and why?

I think holy cross wins 28-21. NCC is a good team but holy cross can beat them if they run ball like they did against beechwood and have both backs in at the same time. It is scary when they are both back there. I'm curious to see how holy cross does against NCC passing attack. Should be a great game to watch!

This is one of those games that you just don't know till they match up on the field. You would think New Cath's strong schedule will pay off in this one but they don't have a quality win yet. Neither does Holy Cross. Both teams have been competitive in the tough games on their schedules but both teams fell short of getting wins.

Looking at the matchups, it feels a little like the Beechwood game - NCC passing the ball vs. Holy Cross defense - except New Cath has a more balanced offense. Beechwood shredded the Holy Cross secondary and that is what got them the win. Will New Cath turn Henschen and the passing game loose to see if Holy Cross learned anything from their Beechwood loss?

On the other side, will the Holy Cross coaches look at their offense and realize who they are? Forget throwing the ball. Holy Cross should do what Dixie did a couple years ago, which got Dixie to the 6A finals. Line up and run the ball every play. Let the big backs go to work. Sorry Jaylin Williams, but if Holy Cross throws more than 5 passes in the game it is a big mistake IMO.

I agree!

Passing vs running I'm excited to see this game!

This is why NewCath plays the tough non district schedule every single year to be ready for games like this. Breds have to be physical on D and wrap up especially their DB'S who haven't all year. I'm taking the Breds by 14
