See you next week CAL !

CAL has built an impressive 2A program. That said Meade County is just 2 years removed from playing in the 6A championship game. There is no reason they should get drubbed by a 2A school, I don't care how good the smaller school is. The Meade/Hardin district may be the worst in 6A.

Have seen Simon Kenton trashed for playing 2A CAL earlier in the year. Knew those talking did not know of what they spoke. Personally asked one of the Big Four coaches from Louisville their opinion of CAL. He very directly said..."if they were 6A he would rate them in top 10 of all programs in Ky". I am impressed and see Mayfield being challenged this year. This week's CAL vs. Desalles game should be a dandy.

CAL has an outstanding 2A program, no question about that. That said I don't disagree the CAL would be top 10 because overall the quality of 6A is so bad. That also said no 6A school should EVER lose like that to a 2A school. If classification is that meaningless why do it.

I absolutely agree. CAL is consistently better than any of the 6-A schools we have played the past few years. Within the LLouisville Metro area, I think you have Trinity, X, Male & Manual. Then I think both CAL and DeSales are in that next tier with PRP.
