JR Drew Rom picked up an offer from Butler U.

Good stuff. Becoming a baseball school ain't easy. :ylsuper:

That is awesome to hear...Congrats to Drew.

Drew will be getting many more offers.. The kid has a bright future! It doesn't hurt that he is a lefty that can bring it in the mid to upper 80's..

Correct. First of many. Project him down the road a few years with physical growth and maturity and you're looking at a potentially very nice 1 or 2.

Super athlete.

Just saw where Drew threw 2 scoreless innings striking out 4 down in Ft. Meyers, Fl this weekend. He's playing in the PG WWBA Underclass World Championships. This is one of the most heavily scouted tournaments in the country every year. I predict after this showing the offers will start pouring in..a Great job Drew!!

What team was Drew down there with?

Midland? The PG tourney is a very good tourney to get noticed.

After my previous post, I think I saw that Drew played for the San Fran Giants scout team which won the tourney. That will get you noticed!!!

Birds need to get the bats going and take the 2017 pitching staff to state. Congrats Drew!

They will be fine this year.. The Birds will have the strongest pitching in the state..

Dreves threw well in the same tourney.

On top of being a stud pitcher I hear Drew is a "stud" in the classroom as well. That will certainly open up some opportunities.

I am pretty sure he wants to be a surgeon..

Wonder if lefty surgeons get as much attention as lefty pitchers!
