Seems odd to say this about Murray, but I agree.

I think most Mayfield fans would agree with me that it doesn't hurt our feelings for the Tigers to take a trip to the woodshed every now and then.

You can't beat Murray bad enough, it's NEVER enough, 50 points is not enough!

Coach Leahy told me that them tigers er yeller

No love lost here

Time for Murray to take a trip to the woodshed. Cardinals BIG

Murray lost a lot of great talent from the past couple of years. They have run into a major down year. It sounds as if they have some great young groups at the freshmen and 8th grade level. Should be a fun team to watch in a couple of years.

Wow - no love lost for Murray. Sounds like a good story or two might be wrapped up in there somewhere....

Yes, they do have some talented kids coming up from 8th grade. But, running clock this year on the Tigers!!

Play a double header..our 8th grade will whip theirs too.

No none on our side anyway. It was our second oldest opponent until they dropped us a few years back. Of course they have only beat us 1 time since the early 1970's, a 7-0 upset in 1997. Besides dropping us there was a lot of bad blood as we felt they loved to cheap shot us on the field and bump their gums every year. So much so that our former head coach, Paul Leahy, would refer to them as Yeller Tigers and use them as an example of how not to play. Leahy's view of them stuck and all us old Cardinals don't much like them on the field

They are arrogant in every sport.

Paducah Tilghman is our biggest rival (not so much lately though) but I would rather beat Murray...in ANY sport. So it I'm glad to travel to Ty Holland Stadium this Fri. Evening to watch the Big Red open up a can on the tigers.

Hard to find a group more proud of so little than Murray High.
