The mall being open that early was literally the first thing I thought as well..

Makes me wonder if this was a matter of having a specific target in mind that worked at the mall. That early on a Monday morning, even if the mall is open, you're not going to have many people present.

It looks like it was a strip mall and was centered around a Petco store.

 

Yeah the 3rd message I got clarified that.

 

I'm guessing it was a domestic dispute of some sort.

Just read that call came in that a man was walking around shooting people in their cars at 6:30 cst.

 

As many as 6 people may have been shot.

 

Shooter shot by police.

 

Bomb squad on scene due to suspicious car.

Maybe watching too many political shows like House of Cards is making me cynical... It seems like there's been an up tick in shootings, stabbings etc right before the election.
