It's not true at any private school, I'm assuming.

That's what makes this country great. Freedom to express yourself. Yes, I believe it's offensive to our founding fathers and those that fought for our freedom for someone to not stand in attention for the playing of our national anthem. Kneeling isn't as bad if they still face the flag.

You have the freedom to say what you believe. Everyone in the US has the freedom to express their beliefs and feelings. As long as there is no harm or threat to others.

Couldn't a coach require a player to stand for the National Anthem the same way that he requires a player to wear certain socks? There has to be uniformity and unity on a football team.
