Bengals 23 Jets 22

I'm confused....Every time Dalton makes a mistake should they just sub him out for McCarron? Then when AJ makes a bad play, I guess they should bring Dalton back in? Is that really the way a team like the Bengals wants to operate or how fans think it should be done?

Late to the thread, haven't read any posts prior to page 5.

Was the O-line play an anomoly? More the Jets having a really good D-line? Will the Bengals see another D-line like that this year?

Very concerning.

We need help on the OLine. Center position is bad.

Nope and never was said yesterday everytime he made a mistake. But you wouldn't know that by listening to some other Dalton bashers who are trying to hide their shortcomings with him and deflect their negative Dalton posts to me.

I'd like to think it was because the Jet's D-line was so good but I'm worried regardless.

It's ignorant if it was said once.

The Jets DLine is at the top of the league. They will make lots of folks look silly.

So it's ok for you to say something negative about Dalton but I can't. You still deny I even posted what I posted in post 18.

The hypocriscy of some on here is baffling.

So everything you said about Dalton is showing your support for him. What a joke.

So glad you completely ignore again the positive posts I made about him.

Don't talk to me about being fake until you learn the meaning of hypocrisy. Don't call me out and act as if you weren't even worse in that thread about Dalton...oh I forgot, you can say he did something bad but as long as you don't mention AJ it's all good.smh.

Do me a favor, show me anywhere in that thread where I said AJ should be our starter. You claimed I said that. Show me!!!!!!

Do You know the difference between coming in off the bench and starting?

Yes I know what you posted in Post 18. Unfortunately that's not the post I'm referring to.

Once again since you're not getting it. I have no issue with saying something negative about Dalton or any other player, obviously I have done it. What I pointed out earlier is that you act like you are fully behind Dalton but just yesterday you were calling for his benching. That's it. No more, no less.

If I was being hypocritical and thought only I could post negative things about Dalton I would try and call you out on the other negative posts you made about Dalton in the game thread. You know why I haven't? Because I see nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade.

And I have no issue with saying AJ is good. I personally think he is good and will have a good NFL career. I have no issue with anyone saying the same.

So to sum it up before you try to divert again:

1. I posted negative things about Dalton when negative things happened.

2. I have no issue with you, or anyone else, posting negative things about Dalton when negative things happen.

3. I acknowledge what you said in post 18.

4. I also see what you said in post 81.

5. Post 81 is what I pointed out earlier in this thread.

6. Yes I know the difference between starting and coming off the bench.

7. Boomer Esiason wore this number.

8. As stated, what you type is your history. And I was pointing out what you typed in post 81 of the update thread. All the while Dalton was putting together a solid winning game, albeit with a few negative plays.

So in conclusion you think me feeling more confident in AJ's ability to come from behind at the end of a game because he has shown the ability to do it in a big game is just wrong. Got it. And because you never said "I wouldn't have a problem with AJ playing" translates to Dalton shouldn't start. I get it.

If you have no problem with anyone saying anything as it happens then why even bring it up? Still waiting for you to show me where I said AJ should start.

I will leave it at this because I'm not going to stoop to some others levels on here. If it makes you feel good about yourself to use me as your scapegoat, have at it. I know what others say about the exact same player and I never until today called those very same people out for saying the same things I may have said. If it makes you feel better to deflect the attention to me as if I am the only one who ever said anything negative about Dalton, then have at it. You all are Saints, I'm the devil.

I have no problem with you being confident in AJ's ability to do anything. But what NFL game has he led the Bengals back for a win?

You keep ignoring what you said in post 81 and keep reverting to post 18...

I merely pointed out that you called for AJ to replace Dalton yesterday.

Where did I say that you said AJ should start?

I was referring to his playoff performance where he got us a lead late in the game.

You were so quick to point out that 1 single post where I was referring to the pointin the game that we needed a great comeback yet you completely, as usual, never mention any of the good post talking about Dalton and how he's performed. You make it sound like I'm just blowing smoke in this thread when in fact I made some pretty good comments about Dalton in yesterdays thread also. It isn't the first time I've ever complimented Dalton yet you lead people to make it seem like it was and I don't mean a single word of what I said about him today. That is what infuriates me. when you throw me under the bus while you have been pretty harsh on him during the game, more so than I was yet I'm the bad guy.

Ah okay. Yes he did play well in the playoff game and gave us a chance to win. No denying that.

From now on I'll make every post by pointing out 3 positives and then a negative. Will that help?

I'm not saying you never complimented Dalton or have never said anything nice. You have.

I have not denied posting negative things about Dalton during the game yesterday. I also didn't call for his benching.

But I'm done with this.

some posts i made yesterday in the game update thread that you ignored.

"That was a perfectly thrown ball by Dalton."

"Great TD by Dalton and green!!!"

This next post is exactly what i meant about AJ...try and twist that around

"Dalton is my fantasy league QB but I'd rather th Bengals win than me. So if AJ has to take his place i'm fine if it means a Bengals

win."

^^^That right there is exactly what I was talking about. If you don't understand that then I can't help you.

I don't think there is any other way you can misunderstand my feelings about AJ and Dalton at that point of the game yesterday.

You see I'm all about winning period.

Now let me post one last one from you yesterday in the game update thread.

What did you mean by this?

"The bengals don't even trust Dalton."

So you are saying you along with the Bengals don't trust Dalton?

Yet it's just me isn't it?

Ah okay. Yes he did play well in the playoff game and gave us a chance to win. No denying that.

But I'm done with this.

I'm not saying you should change anything with your posts, just saying don't be a hypocrite and try and call me out for saying negative things sometimes during the game threads while you make even more negative posts in the same threads. simple as that.

I hope the Bengals trade AJ in the off season. That way we can get some value for him and not have to listen how great he is even though he only has 7 starts.

1-0 after a tough road game in NY!

Congrats on the W!
