Lets not jinx ourselfs. I am saying that JC is going win, but no win is easy. The thing I like about matney and his staff is they know when they have beat a team. There is no sense in leaving the varsity players in on a team when they have already all but won the game. The only game I want to see the starters left in the enitre game is against paintsville and ashland!

If this game goes like we hope, maybe matney will put in his 2nd string to start the 2nd half. Help build up the depth chart and give the varsity players some rest. JC has some very talented players that can play both ways in the skill posititons and on the line. Having no depth is something that has plagued JC for a long time.

With the new 6 classes in football, hopefully scheduling games for JC wont be that big of a task next season, and anybody that follows JC football knows that has been very hard the past few seasons. There is nothing wrong with playing out-of-state teams that can give you a challenge, look at highlands, st. x, trinity, cch, ncc and the list goes on. JC needs to play some tough louisville area or nky schools to get ready for the playoffs.

Chase had a terrible staph infection that put him in the hospital for a few days. He is home and doing much better. He will be out for a while and is terribly missed by his "football family". Hopefully he will return in the next few weeks.

Yes chase is missed and though the defense has dominated so far i beleive they will be even stronger when chase comes back. So will the running game..

Wow, that is serious and i want to wish him a speedy recovery, i thought that it was just fluid on the knee. Just curious though, Chase i assume was to be a starter this year since he was last year as a freshman, is Josh G.(cant spell the last name) filling in for him cause if so it will be a tough decision for Matney to take Josh out after playing so well these first two games.

Josh Gourdouze a.k.a. gordo #28 is the player, and he is doing a great job in that position imo. I dont want to say anything that could be wrong and you know how talk gets started, so if anybody can confirm or deny this please post. I was told that chase is on home bound for a week or so. He was at the game friday, and was walking around, his dad made him take on of his crutches with with when he walked over to the locker room area. Chase is tough, nice, but tough. As long as he gets healthy before district play starts, which hopefully he will. Before the game all of JC's players were over by chase before they warmed up and the ones I saw had a #7 wristband or something with #7 on it for chase.

Well chase normally plays D end so he is being replace by one of the d ends right now.. I know for the first half of the NL game Coty Conley played end but in the second half and the last game Conley played Tackle and dillion played end.. And so i think if he gets to come back he will be competeing with Denis dillion for the starting job.. Cause i dont think either one could take dials place... If i am wrong some one correct me .... All i know is it would be nice to have chase back.. for depth and to have him in the backfeild for another option.

I agree dark horse. Matney will find a spot for him. Dennis is a little faster, but Chase is a little stronger. We will just have to wait and see.

Some ppl may see this as a conflict but i think that it is great. Just goes to show you how much depth JC has on this team and that almost every player is interchangable in its position.

I have no clue about Logan but I know how tough JC is.
