Campbell County

If the camels double cover Dante they win.

If they double cover Dante then I predict Burns having another huge game.

Maybe not a marque match-up, but this may well be the best game of Friday night from a competitive standpoint. I've seen both teams play and both have their strengths. Very well may be a game decided in the final minute.

Campbell has always been a tough game for Cooper, i think it will be again. However, I think the Jags will come away with the win.

This will be a big test for the Camels defense. They have played well so far and a continued effort will keep this game close. The Camels have to secure the football and play ground and pound offense to keep Cooper's offense off the field. If the Camels go to the air often, this game could get away from them. If they commit to the run, I like their chances.

Probably more than any team in NKY. I don't think there are any players that play both ways even on special occasions, and they sub a lot on both sides. That's great for getting more kids a chance to play, but playing a team like Cooper (or NCC, Ryle, SK) they will have their best athletes on the field on offense and defense if not full time, at least on occasion.

I tend to think this game will be a matchup of Cooper's DL and Campbell's O-Line. If this game is decided by secondaries that has to be an advantage to Cooper simply because of Hendrix but also that if Campbell has to go to the passing game often it is because Cooper is doing a good job of stuffing the run. I expect a HEAVY dose of the power game from Campbell to try and wear down Cooper's big boys.

 

Cooper plays quite a few kids as well. From what I have heard there are only like 3-4 players for Cooper going two ways, and only 1-2 taking over 90% of the snaps both ways. I guess we will see if that holds true. Good luck to both teams on a hard fought, competitive NKY 6A football game.
