Imo' date=' this can be as much of a statement game as Ashland was. This game has for one reason or another always taken the Rams 4 quarters to get a running clock/blow out. The next stride the Rams need to take is killer instinct. Both as players and coaches. Get out there, punch them in the mouth and rest your 1s. Its time that mentality is developed.[/quote']

Only the last two years has it taken them longer to get going. When the game gets split into two days, it's hard to be fluid. That being said, I am curious to see if we keep the foot on the accelerator or if we fart around and play down to the level of our competition. Nothing I hate worse is to watch a good team play badly instead of having a killer instinct.

Rams ...another work week is here. Pick up that "Lunch Box" mentality and work ethic to bring home another pay check.. A WIN !

Do Not give your opponent a chance to have a say in the matter. Ram players, a good game plan will be put in. Only You Will Decide how this game will go. Play hard on Every snap and all will take care of itself. Should you give East even the slightest hint of a chance to gain confidence and beat you - they will.

This is the night we honor our past by inducting players, coaches into the Raceland Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be at Saturday @ 3pm in the John Stephens Cultural Arts Center and will also be recognized before the game on the field. Among the honorees will be Coach Randy Vanderhoof.

I don't mean any disrespect to the Ram program when I say this, obviously the Rams have been good for a long time, BUT............I'm starting to see some cracks in the foundation. When this run of good lineman is over things may be tough for RamNation. Skill players have been down for few years, JV is down, West Middle put a very fast running clock on the Ram 8th grade, West's 7th grade beat the Ram 7th grade.............again, not a hater........just an observation.

And I mean no disrespect either by stating the obvious that this has nothing to do with this this year's team or this thread.

None taken, not trying to start trouble......I respect the Ram program. Just thought it might be a trend for the rest of the season and the future. The Ram O/D line is very, very good and is the main reason for the success since the Messer class graduated.

Raceland wins 42-7, with East scoring a late, meaningless td against Raceland's backups.

Any injuries in Grayson?

Raceland has well over 500 varsity wins in it's history. And, many of those years, the Freshman Team, JV Team and the Junior High team had loosing seasons. What does that tell you?

As any program does, we will have years that we go through some growing pains. But dont expect those cracks in the foundation to become wholes that cause jerico to come tumbling down. We will be fine.

a small, class A school has a limited number of kids / talent, athletes in each class. That's why the jr. high, Frosh and JV teams often have a losing record. By the time All reach Varsity .. it's ONE team, not single classes. .........How's that for an explanation of what that tells someone ?? :lol2: You're welcome.

Yes ... While fishing, I ran a hook through my hand a few years ago ...had to use the line / pull hard method to pop it out and...oh wait, you're talking about football, never mind :lol2:

Get the fire trucks ready. We are having a parade after we beat East Carter. It's because we have such a great fan base. Silliness.
