NO! What I'm saying is that HC has given up a total of 132 yards and 7 points in 2 games. And yes HC could stop those offenses this year. Until someone can prove other wise HC has the best defense in NKY because the numbers prove that.

HC doesn't have the numbers to compete with SK for 4 qtrs. We depend on 2way players but our talent per position is better than most in NKY. Our skill players are the best in NKY.

Is Walton falling a little? I know they dropped off some last year but thought they returned a good amount of kids.

So HC gets no credit for being dominant but NCC beats a really bad Scott team and they are supposed to be better than last year.

 

I also don't see any NCC fans claiming to be "the best" anything, let alone the best defense after beating two teams who historically struggle to even have a winning season.

Congrats to HC- you've won two games and have some good players. Asking why Team A gets more juice than us comes off like an inferiority complex.

The majority of Holy Cross fans and parents realize that while we’ve aced the first couple of quizzes (quizzes that we’ve failed in some years), the big tests lie ahead.

 

A couple of fans are understandably super-excited and optimistic (and good for them). But as a whole Holy Cross has its 2-0 record solidly in perspective: We’re good, but how good is yet to be determined.

I think Holy Cross continues its unbeaten streak this week against Bye. I predict that the Indians defense will once again be solid in not allowing Bye to score or gain any yardage. Koz is so confident going into this weekend that I believe he will rest his starters in order for them to be ready for Taft on 9/9. For HC fans, I heard Bye does not allow tailgating in their parking lot.
