I love dogs and have had them a majority of my life. In no way should they be treated the same as a police officer.

Depends if he can't stand the other officer or not lol. Kind of half joking, there are bad cops, we all agree with that.

 

Ok, I've replied to enough posts in here lol. It's what happens when you stumble

into a thread that is near

Tell some humans to sniff out bombs or perform a "scout" to find a suspect who is hiding in the woods by using nothing but your sense of smell or "Track" a suspect who fled a murder scene.

 

Let's see how that works out.

Not to put words in @Wireman mouth but I don't think he is referring to your normal family pet, only referring to K-9 Unit dogs as resources which is what they are.

 

That's all. I love dogs and think they are great. But they aren't humans and shouldn't be treated like humans.

Police dogs are not the same as policemen.

 

Top of the dog chart - yes.

Human - no.

Speaking of which, here's a really good book that I just finished reading. Main character is a police dog.
