...do they finish undefeated? They travel to Knox Central this weekend and after that, only two games really stand out - at Central on September 23 and hosting Bardstown on September 30.

They won't beat Central.

I'm not going to say they won't, but talking about going undefeated before someone plays Central seems a bit presumptuous.

I would worry about Knox Central first in Corbin...

Louisville Central very hard place to win...

It does appear tho there is a lot of excitement about Waggener football.

Even if they go 8-2 heading into playoffs, will be fun season to watch.

All I know the second round of the playoffs is going to really stink for some teams again. Central, Waggener, Boyle, Lex Cath and Garrard are all on a collision course towards each other once again.

Don't forget Bardstown, who appears to be much improved.

In that case the first round is no slouch as well! Puts even more importance on getting that 1 seed.

Whoa......we're just in the 2nd week of the season ???

Bardstown beat Waggener last year 30-18 and as I recall Bardstown was using their backup QB. However, I also don't remember Waggener throwing the ball much, which they are doing this year, so who knows?
