Campbellsville opened 2015 with a 6 game winning streak and a move to the top 5 in 1A. Then the season ending injury to star RB Kendon Young derailed their title hopes. The team grew up in its last three games and some talented skill players return. They will get tested in game 1 against tough 2A opponent Glasgow. This is another opening game matchup that will helop us quickly get a feel for who the teams to watch are in 1A. Can Campbellsville repeat its hard fought 2015 win over Glasgow? Is Glasgow improved and too much for Campbellsville? What should we look for in this game?

I think Glasgow gets the nod here. Glasgow returns a lot from last year and would have beaten Cville if not for 5 turnovers.

 

I do think Cville will be good this year but their opener may be one of their few losses

Campbellsville has some speed.

 

This game is hinged solely on how well Glasgow defends the edges.

 

If they can, they win by 10+. If they can't, they lose by 10+.

I'm going with Glasgow. Campbellsville's shot to make a run was last year. I don't think the Eagles will be as good this season.

Winterweather, Cville had 5 turnovers last year as well... Three inside the Glasgow 6 yard line. But, that was last year... This year's team is not as seasoned as last year's 8-4 squad, so the jury is still out.. That being said, I'll take Campbellsville in close one again.. Good Luck to all on opening weekend.

Glasgow by 21 this is my sleeper team big line good QB tall WR .Defense looked good against Rville.

Great opening season game. I like Glasgow but I will not be surprised if it goes the other way. A win for either will be big.

Very good early test for both teams that have a great chance for very good seasons.
