[Randy Parker]

Very little of the card has been determined, but thus far we have:

 

Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler (WWE Championship) - I was really hoping to see Ambrose vs. Wyatt, Ambrose vs. Orton, Ambrose vs. Styles, or Ambrose vs. Cena here. With this being one of the Big 4 PPV's, I'm disappointed that Ziggler is the opponent.

 

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor (Universal Championship) - I was really expecting Rollins vs. Reigns, so I'm pleasantly surprised by the decision to put Finn here. And as much as I love Balor, I think Rollins needs to win. He's the most complete performer on the roster.

 

Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton - While I think Lesnar wins, I'm looking forward to this one. Power vs. Power. And I hope in the buildup to this, they continue to play on Lesnar's failed drug tests.

 

Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (Women's Championship) - Meh.

 

 

I expect we'll see Styles vs. Cena & maybe New Day vs. The Club.

Not official but looks like we may be getting Rusev vs Reigns for the US title and The Club vs The New Day for the Tag Titles. Bray Wyatt getting involved in the Ziggler/Ambrose feud last night on Smackdown, interesting to see what they do here.

According to cagesideseats.com rumor round up (yesterday) both Triple H and Vince are very high on Finn and it's a very good/likely that we see him win at Summerslam...

Not official but looks like we may be getting Rusev vs Reigns for the US title and The Club vs The New Day for the Tag Titles.

 

I really like both of those matchups, especially putting Reigns in the chase for the U.S. title.

Brock and Orton could be one of the greatest matches in a long time. Or it could be lame like Brock's Mania match with Ambrose. I thought Ambrose's comments about that were pretty revealing.

The last Banks/Charlotte match was the best women's match I've ever seen.

 

 

 

To be honest, I didn't see the Charlotte/Sasha match. I just can't seem to get in to the women. Perhaps I should try harder. They are much, much nicer to observe now than years ago but, to be honest, I lost interest when the Fabulous Moolah started going downhill. I loved watching her wrestle when she was still kicking tail. She was one mean woman in her day. She scared me.

 

I will say Charlotte, like her dad, is good in the villain role. Also, the women today are much more athletic than decades ago.
