Harrison County football

Any body who has any thoughts on the progression of harrison co football or how far they will go this season. My opinion is that the breds will do very good this year. They have 2-3 good recievers a rookie quarterback that has a good ball and a very fast tail back. they also have a good line.

I think last year was their year. They lost a lot. Had they not gotten the injury bug then they would have been a real contender. They played Lex Cath and Cov Cath I think it was too the wire. I don't think people realize how good they were last year when they were healthy.

IMO, it'll be a long season for HC. No team speed...no intensity..and they simple won't hit anybody. They have a couple of nice players...but woefully lack depth at key positions (QB, OL, DL,RB). Their QB has a nice arm..but lacks in overall strength and mobility at this point. However, he's just a soph...so he's got plenty of time to develop.

BTW...the only solid receiver they have is the Mullins kid at this point.

I think this team will be about .500 at best. Good QB, but this team could be better if some players had made smarter choices and were still on the team.

I agree with you. I'm just glad to see Coach Graham have a schedule with some good teams on it. It's not like the Harrison Co schedules of old (you all know what I'm talking about). Three of their first 5 games are brutal IMO and it will be tough to keep the kids pumped up. But that's one thing that Ray has always been able to do.

Their schedule is pretty impressive....unfortunately, I think HC is in pure rebuilding mode. They had their chances in 2004 and 2005...but just couldn't seal the deal.

Word I'm hearing is they may get a new stadium....any truth to that??

What does anyone think of the new district next year with Harrison,Pendleton Bourbon and Franklin Co.?

Advantage FCHS.

Pendleton and Bourbon will battle it out for the 3rd and 4th place finish in most years.....unless Massie is a miracle worker.

That's the first I've heard of it. They could use a new stadium though. They've used the same one since 1968 I believe.
