July 4, 201610 yr The Reds haven't been cheap for a long time. Not cheap, just inept with the use of their money.
July 4, 201610 yr Hard to say depends on a lot of things. I'd say no. I think someone posted on here Cozart wouldn't make it to his bobblehead night on the 16th. Just wondered if him and Bruce and others are here at that date, are chances good they will play the season out as a Red?
July 5, 201610 yr If at all possible, both Cozart and Bruce will be gone by the deadline. If and when one or both are traded I'm interested in seeing what Schebler can do at the ML level if he plays everyday. He has swung the bat really well for Louisville.

I don't know if he gets the chance this season. They've got Duvall in left, Hamilton in center, and then they've got Yorman that they'll have to make a decision on soon. I'd rather see what he can do than Schebler personally.

July 16, 201610 yr The Reds have leverage with Bruce. They don't have to trade him right now. They can pick up his option for next year. I would not let him go cheap just to move him. If the right deal doesn't happen, pick up the option and trade him over the winter or any time before next year's trade deadline. If the right deal is there, absolutely trade him.

As each day goes by, am thinking the Reds will do just this. Think Bruce,Cozart,Phillips and Price will all be Reds on opening day 2017

July 18, 201610 yr Unless someone has an unforeseen injury at 2nd base Phillips will almost certainly be with the Reds next season. He has zero value right now. And more importantly doesn't want to go anywhere.
