Dontell Brown has torn his ACL and will miss the entire basketball season

That's a big loss for PLD

Hate to see his senior year end like this before it really got started with him not on the football field or the basketball court due to injury. Great young man for sure.

Yes, he is the post player. The injury occured during the football game against Tates Creek two weeks ago. I hate it for Dontell, this goes far beyond football or basketball just a damaging blow for the kid in general. He will bounce back and hopefully be able to pursue some football options at the next level.

 

On a personal note, it is absolutely deplorable to me that their are parents from other programs that compete against PLD that are celebrating this injury. Do not ask who or what program they are from because that isn't important and I won't revel it. It's not a surprise to me at all though.

 

Don't count out the Bulldogs just yet though. This is a huge loss for them but they have some very capable players and will continue to compete at a high level.

Having seen Dunbar up close this summer it is a big loss but Dunbar looks pretty damn good.
