Does seeing Kobe like this make anyone else sad?

Featured Replies

I'm very sad he's done playing if that's what you mean. We will still being seeing a lot of him on TV. He's really into a lot different stuff off the court now.

No, I mean him schilling for a crappy movie...

I love one of his Mamba commercials that I saw, but him pushing that Ghostbusters crap makes cry a little.

Never been a Kobe fan so doesn't bother me a bit.

I agree, not so much he is doing commercial work and such, but having your name attached to what will be a HUGE flop and a garbage movie. Kobe always prides himself on being the best and putting out the best........missed big time on this one, but I am guessing the money and the pressure by the marketing ppl was pretty intense to get a great basketball name so they could shill for this crap movie during the playoffs.

Always the Mamba.....but looks more like a garden snake in this effort.:idunno:

Are you shocked that he missed?

I'm excited to see this re-imagining of Ghostbusters in a way that I didn't think I would be. I'm excited that it's going to have Kobe as a star. Ernie Hudson only got to play the late-comer. Good for Kobe.

Kobe is only starring in the ads...I'm pretty sure he's not in the movie.

The movie results will be very interesting. 4 gals playing the Ghostbusters. All the advertisement has been featuring other folks in an effort to make sure boys go see the film as well.

Yeah that was a joke that didn't land.

I apologize.
