They have basketball talent on their team, makes a huge difference.

The Cavs have talent, just not the best match-up for them. OKC is a better match-up for Cleveland.

To paraphrase the Great Rick Pitino...."Larry Nance is not walking through that door, fans. Brad Daugherty is not walking through that door, and World B Free is not walking through that door. And if you expect them to walk through that door, they're going to be gray and old. What we are is not really young, slow, not really hard-working, and we're not going to improve. People don't realize that, and as soon as they realize those three guys are not coming through that door, the better this town will be for all of us because there is No One in that (locker) room is playing their butts off."

In Football parlance this is like when Nebraska and their grind it out style of football lost 6 times in 7 years to Florida St and Miami in the Orange and Fiesta Bowls. Cleveland is more of a 3 yards and a cloud of dust grind it out style, while the Warriors are playing a loser attacking style with no one on that team afraid to take a shot at any moment.

 

Cavs players just look to have NO CONFIDENCE in their ability to shoot the ball.

Lue is in over his head. To be perfectly honest I don't know if he has any more business being in the head seat than I do. Cleveland needs a coach now more than ever who knows his stuff and can adjust, a wily veteran who's been there and done that, that can see what needs to be done and do it. Same ol' same ol' aint working.

With all that said nothing matters until someone loses on their home floor

They played at a pace that even Golden State couldn't keep up with and they focused on defense. They also dominated the boards and never let Draymond Green get comfortable. They used their length to bother Steph and Klay when they had the ball.

 

Then they lost their mental toughness and crapped the bed. They self destructed in front of the whole world.

They were able to play at that pace with bigs on the court still. Which like you said, helped them dominate on the boards. Most team don't have the players to do that.
