Who will coach them tomorrow? They have no assistant coaches that are eligible. To be a head coach per the KHSAA Web site on coaches that took the rules.meeting on line?

 

All coaches are supposed to do the rules clinic not just head coaches.

According to the KHSAA, 3 UHA baseball coaches have completed the rules clinic for the year. They will have someone that can coach.

Great news now can these coaches hit the long ball

There is an independent pitch recorder for tourneys. I don't think they need to like they do in the regular season.

 

However, not meeting between innings does not have any bearing on this.

No. One person is ultimately responsible. The other coach has no power.

In tournament action, there is an independent third party (which happens to be the official scorer) who handles the pitch count. It is the responsibility of the pitcher's coach to verify how many pitches are remaining. The Designated Pitch County Recorder does not have to speak up with pitch counts unless asked by one of the coaches.

 

I have seen some of them provide this as a courtesy with a running total between innings (for example, at Montgomery County). However, it is not mandatory.
