KHSAA does not allow moves for academic reasons (which no one thinks is the reason here).

Is there still a KHSAA? The way moves are made in the 6th and 7th region........I wonder.........

It is definitely a basketball move! The KHSAA should challenge this if it had any guts at all but Tackett I'm sure will just sign off on the papers. Now, if the whole family legit moves to the Pulaski district there is nothing they can do.

I'd say they have taken every step needed to ensure their eligibility at Pulaski County next season. This isn't a knee jerk reaction or an incident where they woke up and switched their kids to Pulaski County from Southwestern.

Southwestern is actually slightly higher rated Academically, but both are quality schools.

 

If they are claiming Academics as the reason for the move, I'd be curious what PC offers that SW doesn't. I do remember seeing a big green house at Pulaski and I don't recall seeing one at Southwestern, maybe these boys just have green thumbs :lol2:

 

Seriously everyone knows this is a move for basketball. I think there was so much turmoil at SW these kids may have just wanted a fresh start...even though there was a new coach hired for SW after Coach Wright resigned.

 

Wrong. For the 2014-2015 school year, the state of Kentucky ranks schools according to test scores, and other data. Pulaski County ranked 28th. Southwestern was 57th.

:clap: In the past I know SW overall has been ranked higher in some years...either way there isn't enough difference for there to be a reason to move for academics, even if it was a joke.
