He was horrible today. Is defending Westbrook taking too much out of him?

I hate the expression "they want it more" but damn the thunder look like they do want it more.

 

They are playing possessed and hungry and the Warriors not so much.

Great player but this series proves how ridiculous that was. He cannot improve his weakness because you're not going to get more athletic. Westbrook is a nightmare matchup for Curry. Maybe the only one currently going but still.

Golden State finally found a team with enough swagger to outclass them. Not too easy to dance around when every matchup on the floor is more athletic than your team is.

 

The only reason KD could leave now is that Russ has maybe passed him as a player. OKC has a window now for a championship or three.

Maybe 73 wins wasn't the best plan after all?

 

These are my two least favorite NBA teams but I'm loving this. I like OKC compared to Golden State.

OKC is Golden State's toughest foe in the NBA. They swept the series against OKC, but they match-up worst against them than any of the other elite teams. OKC winning the series is not a total shock, but how they have dominated the last two games nobody saw coming.

 

Watching this series just irks me that San Antonio blew a couple games against the Thunder last round.

Steph is a turnover machine. And when his shot is not falling, the rest of his game is irrelevant.

This series is over IMO.

 

Westbrook is going to abuse the Cavs in the finals. Only way Cleveland has a shot IMO is to put LeBron on him, but we all know that won't happen.

This I can buy. While Draymond has been exposed, anyone that has watched Golden State knows this dude is the engine to this team, and it just isn't there. Dude can defend and push the action, but we have seldom seen it in this series.

I've been wanting a Thunder title for about 4 or 5 years now. I may finally get my wish. When Russ and Durant finally started trusting their teammates this team has finally shown it's full potential.

 

Russ and Kevin demand double teams and the focus of the defense. These role players get so many open looks. It's been fun to watch.

 

Series isn't over just yet but man I hope they close it out tomorrow.

Yep. Series can swing emotions and opinions by each game. I still feel Cleveland had something click though (offensively).
