If you include Northeastern KY in this then you have to mention Gage Hughes SS at Greenup County. Gage is a current Cincinnati Verbal.

You could also include one of Gage's teammates, Kyle Gammon. He plays 2B & pitches some, was the closer last year as a Freshman but hasn't been used much this year as they haven't had as many close games. Kyle hits in the lead off spot and leads the team in hits, batting avg which is somewhere around .450, stolen bases, and fields his position well.

Recently called up to varsity Andrew Daria from Dixie Heights High School batting .320 8 for 25 5 RBI's

Only watched him in one game, but he was solid up the middle. Fluid release with good range

Kyle has been spectaucular all around so far this year. The combination of him and hughes up the middle is one of the best middle infields in the state for sure, willing to bet the best sophomore middle infield.

Cooper is bad this year, but the player to watch out for is Brayden Runion. He played in some Varsity games as a freshman last year and was way over-matched at the plate. He could not hit the ball for nothing. He has gotten bigger and stronger and can flat out hit the ball now.

Agreed. He will be a name we hear a lot about over the next two years. Kid can hit. I think he is playing for Midland.

He will need to get on with a respectable Summer team because his high school coach does not appear dedicated to helping the players get better.
