Did the CJ preview any other teams/classes or just the Big 3?

Run, from everything I've heard, baseball was/is his best sport. Perhaps his usage of "big-time" is that he played it all the time or it was his primary sport (which it sounds like it was). From what I've read, UNC is his favorite school because of the basketball team. Not sure if he meant "run away" or not. If so, it's pretty cocky and not the smartest thing to say.

Watusi, the CJ was for metro Louisville teams and teams in their districts.

I know, it was just a rhetorical question I asked because from this thread you couldn't tell. :thumb:

I probably should have thrown in a :sssh: or a ;)

If I recall, there were some issues late in the season/early offseason regarding some players and the way certain items were handled. From what I gather, it caused some parents to get upset about treatment of certain players. It's no secret that some Trinity people aren't happy with the way some things have been handled.

I here what you are saying.... Maybe Bob White knows something that he is not supposed to write about???? Lets just talk football and sweep this "speculation" under the rug and forget about it and its existence...

I too was a little disappointed in the preview. I must say that, in general, the CJ has lowered its own standards at these type of publications. I would attribute all of it to cost cutting measures.... For instance, look at any Monday CJ.... The Voice Reporter of the mid 70's had just as many pages... It is all a sign of the times.... Overall I think the CJ does a good job of reporting on local HS football. They try to cover the big games and get an opportunity to cover as many different teams as possible... I realize many dont see it that way, but its true...

Now I understand what you are trying to bring up. I believe this is not allowed on BGP. And beyond that, I think it's shameful.

I figured that's what you were getting at, but for the sake of being helpful, I figured I'd put that out there.

Everyone needs to review the rules.
