Vote it W, vote it!

I like Doss by 4, but I really like South Laurel's trio of Taylor, Grubb, & Griffith.

OK, so if what I read about the Christian Co. game is accurate, the Colonels didn't press SL much. South Oldham only did some halfcourt trapping on occasion, which caused SL trouble, but the Dragons could hit shots so it didn't matter.

I see Doss winning, and I can see some scenarios where it's by several points if they throw a full-on press at the Cardinals. Their length is scary on the wings and the glass and they can cause SL's big kid troubles.

Taylor is going to be Taylor, but Doss will do what Doss does. They will press and swarm defensively and make it tough to get the looks and openings that SL has been getting last couple of games. Their length and quickness will be the difference.

Doss 62

SL 57

I will take South Laurel. Is Taylor going to play in college? If so, where?

Doss is a very versatile team. Improving every game. This team is very adaptable. Really depends how tightly the game is called. Doss gives great defensive effort each night out. Doss 51-43

South--Here is why;

As good as Grubb, Griffith and Taylor are, the key may be Ramey hitting shots from the outside. South rebounds better than any team I seen this season, and if they can limit second chance points it will be theirs to lose.

Doss. Only because I need them in my BGP bracket contest.

They handled a tightly called game last night. Much more so than Taylor Co., who is used to the rugged play in the 5th Region and struggled with foul trouble during the region and state tournaments.

I picked Doss to win based on how Doss has been playing of late. I love their resiliency. Admittedly I have not seen South Laurel this season, so I'm kinda guessing!
