Did I miss anyone? I chose teams that I knew or suspected had KY kids.

Other than Duke(who will likely lose this weekend) these are all teams I will be silently rooting for.

Didn't the Paige kid at WVU go to Perry Central as a senior?

There was a big article in the Herald today about Kentucky connections among players, coaches, assistants, etc. Tons of people in the tournament who have come through Kentucky in many ways. Was really cool. I'll look for it.

Let's not forget our D2 buddies.

SVSU is currently in the regional finals. Scott standout Kellen Smith stars for them.

Bellermine was upset in the first round. They feature several KY boys.

Not sure if any other teams have connections. Link attached.

SVSU plays Ferris State for a chance to go the Elite 8.

Ferris State upset Bellarmine and UIndy to get to this game.

SVSU as a 5 seed beat #4 Lewis and #1 Wisconsin Parkside.

Two GLIAC North teams squaring off. SVSU beat Ferris twice during the regular season but Ferris State is playing really well

While not in the Big Dance Saginaw Valley State and Kellen Smith advanced to the NCAA D2 Elite 8 in Frisco, Texas this week.

They will play #3 seed Western Oregon as a #6 seed next Wednesday.

Heading to Texas for a D2 school is the big dance. Go Kellen and the Cards!!!!!

As the great Lee Corso says "Not so fast my friend" Duke is playing next weekend.

I'm truly shocked. Successful season!!!!

Little shout out to Campbellsville University and Georgetown College. Both are in the Fab 4 of the NAIA DI National Tournament and both have all kinds of Kentucky kids on the rosters.
